Personal trainer to over 1,000 clients ranging in age from 8 to 85 during my 30 year coaching career. Average number of clients on a weekly basis: 40; Average hours per week: 50.

Designed a 360° fitness and training strategy that included nutrition, strength, cardio, flexibility, and agility on an individual basis. Each client's program was determined by his or her age, weight, and physical fitness level with an emphasis on goal setting to ensure continued involvement in the program.

Clients included ...professional athletes (baseball players Steve and David Gibraltar, basketball player Greg Ostertag, Football Hall of Fame player James Lofton); an Air Force Academy graduate, people with handicaps, Special Olympians, men and women wanting to stay in shape, people with physical injuries, and pregnant women.

November 1976-April 2006 Power Lifting Championships
World Champion (7 times); National Champion (12 times); Texas State Champion (27 times). Over 100 records set at the world, national, and state levels during 30 year period.

April 2005 Inducted into the Power Lifting Hall of Fame

1990-1992 Four time Body Building Champion.

2004-Present Mountain Guide in Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado. Guiding ages 18-70.

I have been a client of John Tyree for many years. Even though he is a personal trainer, I feel he is a mental trainer as well.
